Personal Skills Audit
Digital Technology
Skills Acquired : Final Cut , Imovie, Photoshop, Garageband, HDR Cameras, Mac Computers
Skills contributed to creation: We used editing techniques such as transitions to fade from scene to scene. We also used the HDR cameras to film the footage of the film and also we got to use the macs to develop our editing, it was good because we used final cut which meant we could use all the editing techniques and also we used garageband to produce a decent backing track.
Develop in A2 : I will use these skills more and they will develop over time

Skills Acquired : Watching opening sequences, 9 frame analysis, Anamatic, Risk assessment, Call sheet, Mind map, Pitch
Skills contributed to creation: we filmed to our deadline and edited our full film just after as we needed to add a bit more footage. Using the skills really helped because we were allowed to frame ideas from different things.
Develop in A2: Do more research and work to deadlines
Using Conventions Of Real Media Texts
Skills Acquired : We watched the start of SAW and also the star of the blair witch project, this allowed us to get ideas of the feel of a horror film. We also listened to the theme tune of JAWS because it allowed us to get a feel of tension music.
Skills contributed to creation : IT helped because it gave us some good ideas for setting and also the background music needed in our film.
Develop in A2 : Look out for more inspiration in music and film.
Creativity
Skills Acquired : we adhered to conventions of a thriller film but with the murder it was a horror film. We used tense music to adhere to our genre and also we made the film scary with the transitions that we used.
Skills contributed to creation : The skills we used contributed because we used lots of transitions to make our clip scary and match the soundtrack.
