Future Products
This is the products that we will be releasing simultaneously with the cd. They all include our QR code which takes you to our selection of social networking sites for smoking hot records. They include things such as mugs, t shirts and even caps. This is what we will be releasing for our brand. The good thing about using the QR code means that we will get more recognition for the "company"
DRAFT Digipak outline
This is the outline for our digipak, it will be the basis of our booklet that we will include in the cd case. There is still a page missing but that will just include a photo shoot of our actress. As you can see we have mainly stuck to the black and white theme of the digipak. The photos that we need to take on the shoot generally need to be based around the same style that pixie lott is taken in. We have included the cd print that will be on top of the pixie lott cd; Young Foolish Happy. We have tried to stay strong to the "all about tonight" song, as the black clouds on the cd signal the night time. We have included the company logo on most of the sides of the digipak showing that 'smoking hot records' created this! Overall i feel that when we get the digipak photo shoot done, it will be very effective.

Rough Cut 2
This is our rough cut number 2, it has progressed a lot since the first rough cut because it has now been finished and been more finely edited with fades and cuts. It has definitely progressed since the last cut as we have re-filmed a large amount of footage. Although it has been improved a lot, we still need to re-film some of the footage such as the close up shots. Most of the footage in this film is different to the first rough cut that i have posted. We changed the shots because lighting wasn't sufficient in shots such as in the bar and even the mobile phone shots. The video will be changed and edited more before the next rough cut.

Rough Cut 1
This is the rough cut to our video. Although it is only the start to the video, we are starting to add to the concept of beat matching etc. We have shown signs of theories along the way such as the male gaze. The first shots are quite shaky and not as good as they should be so these shots will have to be re filmed. The shots in the bar are very dark so these shots will have to be reshot and lightened up somehow. We will need to have a better focus on some of the shots as they aren't as clear as we'd have hoped. so we will be re filming and re editing most of our footage to make it a lot better.

Company Logo
This is our company logo, it will be shown on our digipak for pixie lott's all about tonight. We have went for bright colours because they will attract our young target audience which is good because that's what we want. We wanted something to attract to the pop genre so that is why we used the bright colours.

Personal Skills Audit
Digital Technology
Skills Acquired : Final Cut , Imovie, Photoshop, Garageband, HDR Cameras, Mac Computers
Skills contributed to creation: We used editing techniques such as transitions to fade from scene to scene. We also used the HDR cameras to film the footage of the film and also we got to use the macs to develop our editing, it was good because we used final cut which meant we could use all the editing techniques and also we used garageband to produce a decent backing track.
Develop in A2 : I will use these skills more and they will develop over time

Skills contributed to creation : IT helped because it gave us some good ideas for setting and also the background music needed in our film.
Develop in A2 : Look out for more inspiration in music and film.

Lip Syncing Task
Our Lip Sync Task Blog
In this task we learned many things, we learnt how we would sing in time to the music and make sure that the music would dub over the lip sync to create a good effect. When we imported the clips and added them together with sound and made it look as if we were singing the song. We used markers to make the clip shorter and also when to start and finish the music. We tried to make it so that some of us were moving or doing actions to the music. we also tried to make it so that our lips were as close as they could be to the real song.

Opie Self Portrait
Photoshop 16/06/2011
At the start of this lesson i had no idea on anything to do with photoshop. We took a self portrait photo of ourselves and we converted it into a opie picture. it was good because i was allowed to use the magnetic tool, colour picker and the bucket tool to allow me to bring my photo to light. the strengths of my photo is that i used shading to my effect to make sure that my face looked quite realistic but i do need to work on my facial features such as my nose.
